Nevada Democrats Launch Canvass to Energize Voters Before Election Day

Political Leaders Rally in Nevada as Elections Approach

In a significant political move, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, alongside Attorney General Aaron Ford and Representatives Susie Lee, Dina Titus, and Steven Horsford, initiated canvassing efforts across southern Nevada. This visit, set in Las Vegas, comes just 21 days before the commencement of in-person early voting and less than 40 days ahead of Election Day. The strategic focus on Nevada underscores its pivotal role as a swing state in the upcoming midterm elections, aiming to counter Republican influence and reclaim the House in 2026.

Democratic Party’s Enthusiasm and Strategy

Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno shared her thoughts:

“The energy was off the charts this weekend with Governor Wes Moore and our candidates rallying Democrats across Southern Nevada as we head into the final stretch of this election. Nevada families are facing impossible choices under the Lombardo-Trump economy and Democrats have a plan to fix it. With just 38 days until Election Day, we’re organized, energized, and ready to keep knocking doors and talking to voters wherever they are.”
