UVA Health Tops Forbes List as Leading Employer for Women in Virginia
UVA Health has been recognized as the top employer for women among Virginia’s health systems and ranks fourth among all employers in the state according to Forbes. Nationally, it stands 20th among health systems and 120th overall in America’s Best Employers for Women list in 2026.
The rankings were determined through a collaboration between Forbes and Statista, which surveyed over 146,000 women, incorporating responses from previous years. Participants evaluated their current and former employers on aspects such as pay equity, career development, and work-life balance.
