Recent data reveals that the tourism sector generated over $87 billion in economic output and supported more than 521,000 jobs in 2025, marking a substantial increase under the leadership of Governor Josh Shapiro.
The year 2025 alone saw the state welcoming 206.2 million visitors, a testament to Pennsylvania’s growing appeal as a travel destination. This influx of tourists has bolstered the state’s economy by $6.4 billion and added 13,427 jobs, highlighting the sector’s critical role in job creation and economic development.
