The University of Arizona has once again earned a place on The Princeton Review’s prestigious list of “Best Value Colleges,” which was unveiled on Tuesday. This recognition underscores the university’s commitment to providing both quality education and financial value to its students.
Achieving an impressive score of 85 out of 99 on its return on investment rating, the University of Arizona was evaluated based on its academic offerings, financial aid services, and overall cost of attendance. The Princeton Review’s methodology does not rank the colleges on a single continuum but instead categorizes them into several value-related subcategories.
In the specific subcategory of “Best Schools for Making an Impact,” the university secured the 13th spot among U.S. public colleges and universities. This particular list is informed by student survey responses that assess the extent of community service opportunities, student government participation, sustainability initiatives, and overall student engagement on campus.
Moreover, the University of Arizona was recognized for its robust alumni network, being ranked No. 18 in the “Best Alumni Networks” list among public universities. This ranking highlights the active involvement and visibility of alumni on campus, as rated by the current student body.
The selection process for the 2027 Best Value Colleges list involved comprehensive surveys from administrators at over 650 institutions. The ranking system incorporates more than 40 distinct data points, evaluating areas such as academic quality, affordability, financial aid, career preparation, graduation rates, and student debt levels.
Earlier, The Princeton Review also acknowledged the University of Arizona in its “Best Colleges” list, which was released in August. This continued recognition reflects the institution’s dedication to enhancing both the educational experience and post-graduate success for its students.
