This year, The Foundation for Delaware County reaches a significant milestone—its 10th anniversary. Reflecting on a decade of growth and community engagement, the Foundation has evolved from an initial opportunity into a robust community foundation serving the people of Delaware County.
Over the past ten years, the Foundation has laid a solid foundation for philanthropy in the region. It has actively directed resources toward urgent community needs, supported families and children through the Family Village programs, and provided crucial backing to local organizations via the Center for Nonprofit Excellence. In times of crisis, the Foundation has also responded effectively with two rapid response funds.
The Foundation emphasizes the importance of community connection in its efforts, recognizing that the most significant impact arises from collaboration. By fostering partnerships and amplifying local generosity and expertise, the Foundation works alongside the community to achieve greater strength and unity.
