Residents of Flint have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into probate and future planning through a newly announced educational series. Hosted by the City of Flint Office of Public Health in collaboration with attorney Ashley Prew, Esq., this initiative aims to equip community members with essential knowledge to safeguard their future.
The “Lunch & Learn Series: Taking Care of Tomorrow, Today” is a three-part series designed to demystify complex topics such as probate, how to potentially avoid it, and the importance of wills and powers of attorney. The series promises to deliver practical and accessible information that can help residents document their wishes and protect their assets, ultimately sparing their families from unnecessary stress and expenses.
“I’m excited to continue our partnership with the City of Flint to help residents better understand probate and how it can impact their families,” stated Ashley Prew, Esq. “Our goal is to give residents the knowledge they need to plan ahead, protect their assets, and save their loved ones time, money, and confusion.”
