Local Law Enforcement Activities in First Week of April
April 2, Thursday
On Thursday, officers collaborated with City police to address a harassment incident at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Meyran Avenue. The same location also saw police intervention for a domestic issue. Additionally, a liquor law violation was reported by a campus security authority in the 100-300 block of Oakland Avenue, resulting in a conduct referral for a student. Officers were also involved in responding to a shoplifting case.
April 3, Friday
Friday saw further cooperation between officers and City police, this time in handling a harassment report at Fifth Avenue and Craig Street.
April 4, Saturday
On Saturday, a student at Panther Central was issued a citation for possessing a fake identification card.
April 5, Sunday
A fake identification card was confiscated by an officer from a wallet recovered at Nordenberg Hall on Sunday.
April 6, Monday
Monday involved officers assisting City police once more, this time with a domestic disturbance.
April 7, Tuesday
Tuesday’s activities included an officer taking a report on criminal mischief at Forbes Hall Pavilion, with the investigation still pending. Another report was made regarding the theft of lost or mislaid property at Sutherland Hall, which is also under investigation.
April 8, Wednesday
Wednesday’s crime log did not report any incidents, according to Pitt police.
