Dallas is taking a proactive approach to ensure all residents have equal opportunities in housing. The City of Dallas Housing & Community Empowerment – Fair Housing Division is launching the Fair Housing Community Connect Tours, an initiative designed to make Fair Housing services more accessible by bringing them directly to the neighborhoods.
The Community Connect Tour will offer residents an array of Fair Housing services at each stop. These services include help with filing discrimination complaints, conducting onsite intake interviews, and providing guidance on reasonable accommodations and modifications. Furthermore, City staff will assist in identifying possible discriminatory practices, offering referrals to suitable resources, and distributing multilingual educational materials. They will also be available to answer any questions residents might have about their Fair Housing rights.
Residents are invited to participate in the tour on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Churchill Recreation Center, located at 6906 Churchill Way, Dallas, TX 75230.
