This newly launched facility, spanning over 25,000 square feet, is designed to be the primary hub for volunteer training and support in anticipation of the 2026 tournament. The center’s mission is to educate volunteers about the history of the FIFA World Cup™ and the pivotal role Dallas will play, while preparing them for their specific tasks during the event. More than 6,000 volunteers are expected to participate, showcasing the city on an international platform.

In the upcoming weeks, approximately 15,000 individuals are expected to attend Volunteer Team Tryouts at the Food and Fiber Pavilion, all vying for one of the 6,100 coveted volunteer positions in Dallas and the North Texas region. This makes it the second-largest volunteer contingent required by any Host City.

Volunteers who are selected will take on diverse roles, spanning from Accreditation and Ceremonies to Fan and Guest Operations, Language Services, and serving as Host City Ambassadors. Notifications of role assignments are expected to be distributed between January and March 2026.
