The MEDS Commission Gears Up for Its First Meeting

The ongoing quest for modernization of election systems in North Carolina is taking a structured approach as the newly formed Modernization of Election Data Systems (MEDS) Commission prepares for its first meeting. Set to convene on February 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM, this inaugural gathering promises to be a pivotal moment in the evolution of the state’s election management infrastructure.

The meeting will be chaired by State Auditor Dave Boliek and will be hosted in the Jim Long Hearing Room located at 325 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, N.C. 27699. Both the public and press are encouraged to attend, reflecting a commitment to transparency and public engagement.
