Free Lead Abatement Supervisor Training Offered in Flint
Starting March 16, 2026, aspiring lead abatement supervisors have an opportunity to enhance their skills through a free, comprehensive training course provided by the Office of Lead-based Paint Hazard Control. This four-day course will equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively perform lead abatement work across Michigan.
Eligible participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum of two years of experience in the construction industry. To secure a spot, interested individuals should register via the LBPHC page before the deadline on February 27, 2026.
Offered in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), this training is free for those who have not previously received sponsored training. For those who have, the course fee is $650. Further inquiries can be directed to 810-237-2060.
