Flint Opens Senior Centers as Temporary Warming Shelters
In response to the ongoing chilly weather conditions, Flint, Michigan, is taking proactive steps to ensure the safety and comfort of its residents. The city will open its Senior Centers to serve as warming centers, welcoming individuals seeking warmth and relief from the cold on Thursday, January 22, and Friday, January 23.
Residents who find themselves without sufficient heating are encouraged to visit these centers during the designated hours. Guests will find bottled water and coffee available at both facilities, ensuring a warm and hospitable environment.
