The City of Flint will see some changes in its public service operations in early April 2026 due to the observance of a religious holiday. While certain departments will close their doors, others will maintain regular business hours, ensuring that essential services remain accessible to residents.
Service Adjustments for Good Friday
FLINT, Michigan — On April 2, 2026, the City of Flint’s Customer Service and Assessments departments will be closed in honor of Good Friday. However, the Clio Road Service Center will continue to operate as usual. Citizens can still handle their utility and tax payments at this location, situated at 4805 Clio Rd., Flint, MI.
It’s important for Flint residents to note that waste collection services will not experience any disruption. Regular service will ensure that waste management continues without interruption during the holiday period.
All City offices are scheduled to resume normal operations on the following Monday, April 6, 2026.
