University of Iowa Adopts Hertz for Local Vehicle Rentals
The University of Iowa is set to transition to Hertz as its go-to provider for local vehicle rentals effective March 16. This shift marks a change in the university’s travel arrangements, which previously relied on UI Fleet Services for local rental needs. Rentals booked between March 16 and March 31 will still be managed by Fleet Services, but starting April 1, all bookings must be made through Hertz.
Fleet Services will continue to handle lease fleet services, including maintenance and fueling. For those traveling out of state, National and Enterprise remain the preferred rental vendors. More details about these vendors can be found here.
