NAU Launches Research Administrators Network for Collaboration & Training

NAU Launches Initiative to Enhance Research Administration

In a bid to bolster research administration across the campus, Northern Arizona University (NAU) has introduced the NAU Research Administrators Network (NRAN). Supported by the Office of the Vice President for Research and the Office of Sponsored Projects, this initiative aims to foster integration, collaboration, and excellence in research administration.

The NRAN is set to provide a range of resources throughout the year, including Deep Dive training sessions, networking events, and forums focused on sponsored research. These activities are designed to promote best practices that aid in crafting successful research proposals, ensuring compliance, and managing awards effectively.

Participants engaged in sponsored research or those with an interest in the field can benefit from the NRAN Deep Dives, scheduled for every third Thursday of the month. These sessions consist of two consecutive 45-minute workshops, each addressing different aspects such as pre-award, post-award, or contracting/compliance issues.

For further details or to join the mailing list and receive updates on upcoming events, interested individuals can reach out via email to NAU-OSP@nau.edu with “NRAN” in the subject line.
