Arizona’s Premier Startup Competition Recognizes Top Innovators
PHOENIX, AZ (April 4, 2024) — The latest edition of the Venture Madness Conference, organized by the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) in collaboration with Venture Madness, celebrated three standout startups that emerged victorious in this prestigious competition.
Venture Madness, a significant event in Arizona’s entrepreneurial landscape, serves as a platform for early-stage and growing companies to connect with influential angel investors and venture capitalists. On April 4, these companies competed through intense pitch sessions.
This year, 16 finalists were chosen from a robust pool of 130 applicants. The top three winners were awarded monetary prizes: $25,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third place.
Top Three Winners of 2024 Venture Madness
- Rovicare clinched first place. Based in Tempe, this healthcare digital platform aims to streamline patient transitions and care coordination, aspiring to cut down healthcare costs, enhance accessibility, and boost care quality.
- Retisio secured the second spot, known for its advanced eCommerce solutions that enable modern retailers and brands to boost online sales while minimizing risks.
- Quibble took third place, offering innovative revenue management software and services tailored for vacation rental properties.

The conference also featured discussions with Arizona startup founders from companies like eVisit, Pyx Health, Shopgenie, and Mosaic. Additionally, a venture capital panel provided insights into the current investment landscape. The dedicated Expo area, now in its third year, offered a platform for presenting company finalists and other emerging businesses to showcase their innovations to accredited investors nationwide.
Since its inception in 1992, Venture Madness has facilitated over $1 billion in capital funding. Notable past winners include CampusLogic, Televeda, Homie, and Qwick.
