A Smooth July Primary Election
The recent July Primary in Maricopa County was a success, with 675,000 votes cast and over 158,000 on election day itself. Impressively, 99% of ballots were counted within 24 hours after polls closed. The new ID verification process received positive feedback, allowing voters to bypass signature verification for early ballots. This efficient election process sets the stage for the upcoming November elections.

New Policy on Predictions Market
Supervisor Galvin has introduced a policy prohibiting county employees from using nonpublic information for personal gain in prediction markets. This move aims to ensure public trust in the County’s decision-making processes.
