Downtown Dallas Traffic Change: Pearl Street Southbound Only

Traffic Changes Ahead for Downtown Dallas: Key Intersection Undergoes New Traffic Flow

Drivers navigating through Downtown Dallas should prepare for a significant shift in traffic patterns at a prominent intersection. This change is set to begin on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

The upcoming alteration will restrict traffic flow to only southbound on Pearl Street, directing vehicles from Woodall Rodgers Freeway (Spur 366) towards Ross Avenue. Consequently, northbound lanes on Pearl Street, heading toward the freeway, will be closed off.

This intersection, a critical junction near the Meyerson Symphony Center and the National Shrine Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, is also just a block away from Klyde Warren Park.

Previously, the arrangement permitted northbound travel from Ross Avenue exclusively. Now, this reversal has been communicated to drivers via message boards placed in the area since mid-March.
