Atlético Dallas Moves HQ to Dallas, Boosts Local Economic Growth

Atlético Dallas Announces Relocation to Fair Park Area with City Support

In a significant move poised to bring new energy and opportunities to the Fair Park area, Atlético Dallas has announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to the city of Dallas, supported by an economic development incentive from the City of Dallas.

The incentive, structured as a conditional grant, is part of a broader strategy to facilitate Atlético Dallas’ transition from Richardson to Dallas. This move aims to enhance the club’s operations in Expo Park, a neighborhood set for investment, job creation, and ongoing community involvement.

The club is set to lease a 12,000-square-foot space at 820 Exposition Avenue, conveniently located near Fair Park’s entrance and the DART Fair Park Station. This new headquarters will feature a 1,500-square-foot retail area, serving as both the team’s official store and a welcoming venue for fans and visitors.

Across the street, at 827/829 Exposition Avenue, plans are underway for a new supporters’ bar, tentatively named The Den at Expo Park. This venue will include a 6,000-square-foot bar and restaurant, as well as a 10,000-square-foot patio and beer garden. The area will also host the club’s first street soccer court, enhancing public access to the sport and revitalizing the community.

With the FIFA World Cup on the horizon, the street soccer court is expected to open this June, while the supporters’ bar will follow with a grand opening later in the summer.

“This move is about much more than an office,” said Matt Valentine, Founder and Chairman of Atlético Dallas. “Relocating our headquarters to Expo Park allows us to put down roots in a historic and culturally significant part of Dallas while creating a true hub for community, creativity, and connection. We’re building a place that welcomes fans year-round and reflects our commitment to growing the game and giving back to the city that’s embracing us.”

In addition to retaining 12 current positions, Atlético Dallas plans to create up to 85 new jobs over the next five years, spanning roles from front office and executive to coaching and player positions, all with a focus on local hiring and workforce development.

Assistant Dallas City Manager Robin Bentley expressed enthusiasm about the development, stating, “The City of Dallas is proud to welcome Atlético Dallas and its new corporate headquarters near the gates of Fair Park and DART’s Fair Park station—a vibrant and growing hub for business, culture, and community.”

The incentive includes support for tenant improvements and business expansion in a City-designated Economic Development Target Area, with Atlético Dallas collaborating with Dallas College to foster career pathways and opportunities for local students.

This initiative marks the first phase of a larger partnership with Kyle Martino and Street FC, supporting the club’s vision to broaden soccer access and public play spaces citywide.

Atlético Dallas’ new headquarters is strategically located near the historic Cotton Bowl, where the team will debut in the USL Championship in 2027, further establishing the area as a hub for sports, culture, and community.
