Dallas Invites Community Input on HUD Grant Fund Allocation

Dallas residents have an opportunity to shape their community’s future as the City of Dallas Budget & Management Services/Grants Administration seeks public input on the allocation of HUD Grant Funds. These consultations are part of the preparation for the FY 2026-27 Consolidated Plan Budget, which will determine how federal funding is distributed among various community programs.

Community feedback is crucial in deciding funding priorities in several key areas:

  • Enhancements in low-income neighborhoods
  • Assistance programs for first-time homebuyers
  • Support services for youth and seniors
  • Initiatives to prevent homelessness
  • Housing and support services for individuals with HIV/AIDS
