Bringing Communities Together for Teen Mental Health and Violence Prevention
In an increasingly digital world, addressing the mental health of teenagers and preventing violence have become critical issues. Aiming to tackle these challenges head-on, Maricopa County Supervisor Mark Stewart is organizing a summit titled “Stronger Together: Growing Up in a Digital World.” This event will be held at Chandler Gilbert Community College in the AGA-1240 Room.
Building a Collaborative Effort
The summit’s primary goal is to foster collaboration among various stakeholders, including cities, school leaders, elected officials, and non-profit organizations across the East Valley. By uniting these diverse groups, the initiative seeks to generate actionable and meaningful programs that can effectively support the youth and contribute to a safer, healthier community.
The event underscores the importance of collective effort, encapsulated in the message, “We are Stronger Together.” This sentiment reflects the belief that by working in unison, communities can develop innovative solutions to enhance the well-being of young individuals and build a stronger future for everyone involved.
