Philadelphia is set to become a vibrant hub of Latin American culture this fall with the much-anticipated 7th Edition of the Latin American Book Fair. This year, for the first time, the fair will be held at the illustrious Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, located on the renowned Avenue of the Arts.
As part of the city’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, the event is organized in partnership with the Mexican Cultural Center. This year’s fair will spotlight Mexico as the guest country, featuring nearly 30 authors who will share their stories and engage in cultural dialogues.
Featured Creatives
Philadelphia’s own Cindy Lozito is a Latina muralist and illustrator whose work has graced venues such as the World Trade Center and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her first children’s book illustration project, What Kind of Queen?, a biography of drag queen and activist José Sarria, is set to be published in April 2026.
Returning to the fair is Odilón Adán Robles, an author known for his thoughtful exploration of human potential and freedom. His latest romance novel continues his journey of inspiring others through literature, a journey that began with self-publishing efforts in Mexico and has now reached Pennsylvania.
