Sierra Kids Expands: New Gymnastics Classes Start March 7 in Reno

New Gymnastics Classes for Kids in Reno: Register Now!

The City of Reno is excited to announce a new addition to its Sierra Kids Program—Saturday gymnastics classes! These classes are designed for children of various ages and skill levels, offering a six-week course led by an experienced gymnastics instructor.

Registration Details

Registration is currently open, with the first classes kicking off on March 7. Due to limited spaces, enrollment operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost for the entire six-week session is $125 per child. For families with a RecConnect membership, discounts are available. Additionally, families can explore sliding scale discounts based on household income or if enrolling multiple children.

All sessions will be conducted at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.

Class Options

  • Tiny Tumblers

    • Designed for ages 3-5
    • Class Time: 9 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

  • Junior Tumblers

    • Open to ages 6-13
    • Class Time: 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.

  • Power Tumblers

    • For ages 6-13; participants must be able to perform a cartwheel
    • Class Time: 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Interested parties can register for the gymnastics program by visiting the Parks & Recreation registration page or signing up in person at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.
