Reno Announces Two Exciting Speedway Saturday Events for 2026

Speedway Saturdays are revving up excitement in Reno with two thrilling events on the calendar for early 2026. These community events promise fun and competition for participants of various ages, all set to take place at the Evelyn Mount Northeast Community Center.

Upcoming Events

The first event is an all-ages Speedway Saturday scheduled for January 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This tournament invites individuals of all age groups to join in organized, age-based races. A registration fee of $20 per person applies for those wishing to compete.

Following this, the Sparkle Speedway Saturday on February 28 will cater specifically to younger racers, aged 5 to 17. This event stands out with its themed races, a sparkling track, a fashion show, crown decorating, and karaoke. Best of all, participation is free.

Event Details

Both events require pre-registration due to limited space. Registration must be completed before 9 a.m. on the day of the event. A prize awaits the victor of the final race in each tournament.

The events offer a mid-day lunch break, pausing the tournament action. It is important to note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.
