Survey Open for Community Input on Livingston County Parks Plan

Participate in Shaping Livingston County Parks’ Future

Residents of Livingston County have a unique opportunity to influence the future of their local parks. With the county’s update of the 2023–2027 Park and Open Space Plan, community feedback is essential. This is your chance to voice what you hope to see at Fillmore and Lutz County Parks.

Community members are encouraged to participate in a brief survey designed to gather input on desired improvements, amenities, and recreational opportunities at these parks. Take the Livingston County Park Plan Survey before it closes on September 15, 2026.

Completing the survey not only helps tailor the parks to community needs but also ensures the county’s eligibility for State Park and Recreation Grants over the next five years. Your feedback is crucial in maintaining parks that serve the community well.

Contribute Your Park Photos

In addition to survey participation, the county is seeking photos of Lutz and Fillmore County Parks for potential inclusion in the updated plan. If you have captured memorable moments in these parks, consider submitting your photos.

Send your images to Martha Haglund via email at mhaglund@livgov.com. Remember to include your name for proper photo credit should your image be selected.

Photos will be accepted through November 1, 2026.

Livingston County parks are cherished spaces for families to enjoy nature and create lasting memories. Your participation in this process helps shape the future of these beloved community assets. Join in by taking the survey, sharing your photos, and being an active part of the transformation.
