Flint ReCAST S.T.R.O.N.G Summit 2025 Registration Now Open

In Flint, Michigan, anticipation is building for the upcoming S.T.R.O.N.G Summit, organized by Flint ReCAST. This event, aimed at fostering community resilience and growth, is set to take place on Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at New Standard Academy, located at 2040 W. Carpenter Road. Although registration is free for all residents of Genesee County, space is limited.

S.T.R.O.N.G, which stands for Supporting Togetherness, Resiliency, Opportunity, Networking, and Growth, promises a day filled with engaging speakers, informative breakout sessions, interactive activities, and valuable resources. Flint ReCAST operates as a five-year grant initiative to support high-risk youth and families in Flint by promoting community recovery through resilience and equity. The program is dedicated to enhancing behavioral health, addressing race and equity issues, supporting youth development, and improving public safety and violence prevention.

In addition to the summit, attendees will have the opportunity to attend “Black Nights, Brown Hope” at the Heart Of Worship Dance Studio. Interested participants can register for the excursion here.
