This event, aimed at fostering community resilience and growth, is set to take place on Friday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at New Standard Academy, located at 2040 W. Carpenter Road. S.T.R.O.N.G, which stands for Supporting Togetherness, Resiliency, Opportunity, Networking, and Growth, promises a day filled with engaging speakers, informative breakout sessions, interactive activities, and valuable resources. Flint ReCAST operates as a five-year grant initiative to support high-risk youth and families in Flint by promoting community recovery through resilience and equity. The program is dedicated to enhancing behavioral health, addressing race and equity issues, supporting youth development, and improving public safety and violence prevention.
