Greg Roberts, dean of admission, expressed gratitude to all applicants, stating, “We are deeply grateful to every student who applied to the University of Virginia this year.” He highlighted the extraordinary quality and thoughtfulness of the applicant pool, which made the selection process both inspiring and challenging.

Roberts also emphasized the upcoming efforts to engage admitted students with the university’s culture and community. “As we shape the first‑year class, the weeks ahead are focused on helping admitted students discover what life at UVA is truly like,” he mentioned. The university plans various initiatives such as Days on the Lawn open houses, virtual programs, admitted-student tours, social media takeovers, and celebratory events in high schools and communities globally to facilitate this engagement.
