Music enthusiasts have a special treat in store as Molly Roseman, a Professor of Piano at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, is set to bring the works of Claude Debussy to life. This event is part of Drake University’s Keys to Excellence Piano Series and promises an evocative journey through the compositions of the renowned French impressionist.
Event Details: The concert is scheduled for Monday, February 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Sheslow Auditorium, with free admission. Additionally, Dr. Roseman will conduct a public masterclass on Sunday, February 15, at 4:00 p.m. at the same venue.
The concert, titled A Journey into the Colorful World of Claude Debussy, will feature Dr. Roseman performing Debussy’s complete Préludes (Book 2). The performance will be enhanced with a slideshow and spoken commentary by Dr. Roseman. The pieces to be performed include:

- Feux d’artifice (Fireworks)
