HyRel Technologies Launches New Facility in Peoria, Arizona
HyRel Technologies has officially opened a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Peoria, Arizona. This new plant represents a $15 million investment and is set to create 50 new jobs in the region. The facility spans 20,000 square feet and is designed to specialize in touchless robotic processing systems for microelectronic components.
The company, a global leader in semiconductor modification solutions, will provide services across various industries including aerospace, defense, and medical. HyRel’s innovative approach focuses on tin-mitigation processes using advanced microrobotic systems.
Brian Watson, the Founder of HyRel Technologies, emphasized the strategic choice of location, stating, Since my co-founder Scott Baker and I launched HyRel Technologies, it has always been the end goal to move to Arizona, no other state has such a commitment to building a thriving and resilient national semiconductor industry.
He highlighted Arizona’s dedication to the semiconductor industry through initiatives like the National Semiconductor Economic Roadmap plan.
HyRel is also committed to fostering new talent. Watson announced that they have initiated an internship program, starting with four interns from Cactus High School who will gain hands-on experience in developing robotic systems. The company aims to expand these vocational opportunities further, reaching out to other regional and national companies for greater student engagement.
