New Headquarters for Discount Tire to Host Over 1,100 Employees in Phoenix
In an ambitious move, Discount Tire, a prominent name in the tire retail sector, has unveiled plans to establish a new corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona. This development follows the company’s acquisition of 35 acres near Loop 101 and State Route 51, purchased at an Arizona State Land Department public auction. The proceeds from this transaction will be channeled into the Permanent Land Endowment Trust Fund, aimed at enhancing K-12 education within the state.
The proposed headquarters will feature an office complex spanning over 300,000 square feet, along with various campus amenities. The development is set to unfold in phases, with initial infrastructure improvements anticipated to start within a year. This significant project marks one of the largest economic development initiatives in Phoenix in recent years. The commitment to Arizona, where Discount Tire has been headquartered since 1970, was lauded by Governor Doug Ducey.

list in 2022, has been consistently acknowledged as a top employer in Arizona. The company’s decision to locate here means 1,100 high-value jobs.
The development plans will consider the native desert landscape, indigenous vegetation, and connectivity to nearby trails.
