Residents of Maricopa County now have access to a complimentary resource aimed at enhancing their employability and skill set. This initiative is part of the Workforce 2 You program, offering the Workforce Professional Skills course—a self-paced online class designed to bolster workforce development and economic prospects in the region.

This no-cost program gives residents the skills to compete and succeed in a fast-changing job market, and it helps ensure Maricopa County remains a destination for opportunity and growth.”
Course Curriculum and Goals
The course is structured into five essential modules:
- Communication and Empathy
- Professionalism and Collaboration
- Initiative
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Self-Directed Learning and Resilience

As a regional leader in workforce development, our colleges offer the training and resources students need to thrive in today’s competitive job market.”
The course aims to equip participants with the necessary skills for future employment, helping them succeed in the current competitive landscape. Students who complete the course and achieve a score of 80% or above on the final exam will be awarded the Workforce Professional Skills Badge. This digital credential is a testament to their proficiency in professional skills that employers prioritize, making it a valuable addition to any resume or LinkedIn profile.
