FrameTec Begins Construction on $40 Million Manufacturing Facility in Camp Verde

In a significant move for the construction industry, FrameTec has started building a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Camp Verde, Arizona. This $40 million investment is expected to generate over 180 new jobs, with the plant set to become operational by spring 2024.

FrameTec’s facility in Camp Verde marks its first U.S. manufacturing site, covering 110,000 square feet. The facility will utilize automated processes to manufacture roof and floor trusses, as well as wall panels for various building types, including residential homes and commercial properties. By incorporating advanced manufacturing techniques, such as a finger jointer process, the facility aims to minimize waste and address material shortages that have long affected the truss industry.

We couldn’t possibly be more excited about the start of construction of our first facility, stated Kyle Brock, Co-Founder and Principal of FrameTec. The most exciting aspect of FrameTec is that we are bringing solutions to the construction industry…

The Camp Verde plant will not only serve as FrameTec’s U.S. corporate headquarters but will also have the capacity to produce materials for 3,000 homes annually, based on a 2,000-square-foot home. It will extend framing services within a 200-mile radius, benefiting communities such as the Verde Valley, Prescott, Phoenix, and Flagstaff. Highlighting sustainability, the facility will operate entirely on renewable energy.

FrameTec’s new facility and U.S. headquarters showcases Arizona’s attractiveness for innovative, advanced manufacturing operations, remarked Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. With a focus on sustainability, FrameTec’s Camp Verde facility will strengthen Yavapai County’s manufacturing industry…

Camp Verde Mayor Dee Jenkins expressed enthusiasm for FrameTec’s decision to establish its headquarters in the town, noting the community’s long-term vision of becoming a central hub for manufacturing in Arizona.

The announcement of FrameTec’s facility is part of a broader trend of manufacturing growth in Arizona, with major companies like Nestlé, Owens Corning, CP Technologies, and PowerPhotonic also choosing the state for their advanced manufacturing operations.
