Experience Multilingual Storytelling at Parkway Central Library
Explore the rich linguistic diversity of Philadelphia through a unique storytime series hosted at the Parkway Central Library. This special event highlights various languages spoken across the city, offering bilingual sessions that promise to engage young children and their caregivers.
Targeted at children aged six and under, these storytimes are set in the Montgomery Auditorium on the Ground Floor of Parkway Central Library. The sessions aim to foster an appreciation for different cultures and languages from an early age.

- German Family Storytime | Wednesday, April 1 at 10:30 a.m.
- Japanese Family Storytime | Wednesday, April 8 at 10:30 a.m.
- Russian Family Storytime | Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30 a.m.
- Hebrew Family Storytime | Wednesday, April 22 at 10:30 a.m.
- Arabic Family Storytime | Wednesday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m.
Besides these engaging storytimes, the Central Children’s Department is pleased to announce that its Friday morning programs now feature American Sign Language interpretation, broadening accessibility for all attendees.
