BLM Approves Right-of-Way for Landing Strip, Fence in Nye County, NV

Ely, Nev. – A new development is underway in Nye County, Nevada, as the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has announced a crucial step forward for a proposed project. This involves a Right-of-Way grant for an existing landing strip and the construction of a new fence on 2.6 acres of public land near Sunnyside.

The issuance of this Right-of-Way grant is in line with the requirements set by the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, which stipulates that such grants must be approved before any projects can commence. The decision regarding this grant will be made separately and is subject to appeal.

To learn more about this project, interested individuals can visit the Steve Maletich ROW project webpage. Additional inquiries can be directed to Alicia Hankins, Land Law Examiner, at 775-289-1851 or via email at [email protected].
