City of Reno Announces Presidents Day Office Closures
In observance of Presidents Day, the City of Reno will shut down its administrative offices on Monday, February 16, 2026. Residents should note these closures as they plan their city-related business.
While most recreational facilities and pools in Reno will also be closed on that day, the Moana Springs Community Aquatics and Fitness Center will remain operational from 5:30 a.m. until noon. Those seeking more information on facility hours and available services can visit the City’s Parks and Recreation page.
Reno Police Department Provides Reporting Options
The Reno Police Department (RPD) reminds residents of the available phone and online reporting options during the holiday. For emergencies needing police, fire, or medical attention, 9-1-1 remains the number to call. For non-emergency situations, residents can reach Dispatch at 775-334-COPS (2677).
Additionally, the RPD encourages the use of their online platform for filing reports. Residents can visit RenoPD.com and select “File a Report” for submissions.
