FLINT, Mich. – Important travel updates have been issued for Flint residents and those passing through, as a significant railroad crossing faces a temporary closure. The crossing at the intersection of 12th St. and Van Slyke Rd. is currently unusable due to track damage.
The railroad owner, Canadian National, has announced that while replacement parts have been ordered, the necessary repairs are not expected to be finalized until early next week. In the meantime, drivers are advised to seek alternative routes and adhere to all detour signs posted during the repair period.
