In Flint, Michigan, celebrations for the Fourth of July are set to bring both closures and festivities to the city. On Friday, July 4, 2025, Flint City Hall and the Clio Road Service Center, located at 4805 Clio Road near Hallwood Plaza, will not be open. Waste collection services scheduled for that day will be postponed to Saturday, July 5.
Residents and visitors can look forward to a vibrant fireworks display organized by the Flint Downtown Development Authority. The fireworks will be launched from Chevy Commons, offering broad visibility throughout Flint’s downtown area. The show is set to commence at dusk, and a special event curfew will be enforced for those under 17 years old during the downtown festival.
