North Carolina Offers Reward in Double Homicide Case

In a bid to bring justice to a tragic incident, Governor Josh Stein has declared that North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $25,000. This reward is for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killings of Carlos Guerrero, aged 38, and Marseddez Lopez, aged 39.

“We must use every tool at our disposal to pursue justice for victims,” said Governor Josh Stein. He encouraged residents, “I urge North Carolinians who have information about these cases to contact local law enforcement and help us provide closure to victims’ families.”

On November 5, 2023, Greensboro officers responded to reports of a shooting at David Christian Place. Upon arrival, they discovered Guerrero and Lopez, both victims of gunshot wounds, deceased. Authorities are treating both deaths as homicides and are actively investigating the case.
