The City of Reno is preparing to welcome its senior residents to a dynamic resource fair, designed to connect them with essential services. Scheduled for January 22, this event promises a range of offerings from health checks to fraud prevention, all under one roof at the Neil Road Recreation Center.
“We’re so proud to offer a convenient one-stop shop for our senior residents, helping them connect with vital services available in our area,” stated Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve. “I encourage seniors in our community to take advantage of this incredible opportunity provided by the City.”

Attendees can expect representatives from various local organizations such as the Reno Fire Department, Washoe County Senior Services, and REMSA. Additionally, Reno Food Systems and Community Health Alliance will be present, with the latter offering complimentary flu vaccinations to uninsured seniors.
