Communication Site Lease Approved on Public Lands in Nevada

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has reached a decision regarding the assignment, renewal, and amendment of a Right-of-Way Lease for a communication site located on a small parcel of public land near Ursine, Lincoln County, Nevada. This decision involves a Categorical Exclusion covering 0.06 acres.

According to the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, a Right-of-Way Lease is necessary before any project can proceed. The BLM’s decision to issue this lease will be subject to a separate, appealable process.
