2025 Student Program at NNSS Welcomes Over 70 Interns for Summer Session

As summer unfolds, the Nevada National Security Sites (NNSS) is hosting an exciting opportunity for over 70 students through its 2025 Student Program. This initiative, which has welcomed participants from various universities across the nation, aims to provide a robust learning platform through a well-structured two-day orientation, setting the stage for a productive summer.

Throughout the 12-week program, students are immersed in a variety of hands-on projects designed to align with the NNSS mission areas. This experience enables them to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application, offering a glimpse into potential careers in both technical and professional domains.

“Students from across the country have joined us for this year’s program, bringing fresh perspectives and talent from a wide range of universities,” said NNSS Student Program Coordinator Renee Wooster. “We’re proud to kick off this program for the 7th year and welcome this group as they support national security.”
