Supporting Local Causes: How Delco Gives Works
Organized by The Foundation for Delaware County, Delco Gives is an online event dedicated to boosting local nonprofit support. This year, additional excitement was generated through a series of cash prizes funded by local sponsors, enhancing the impact of donations. Donors also contributed to the All In Fund, a collective bonus pool shared among all participating nonprofits.
The event was celebrated with various community gatherings, including a kickoff at Media Borough’s Dining Under the Stars and a closing celebration at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex. These gatherings served to unite nonprofit leaders, donors, sponsors, and community members.
Power Home Remodeling (POWER), the presenting sponsor, hosted a Flag Football for Good tournament at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex on May 7, awarding $10,000 to organizations across three cause areas.
