The Youth Poet Laureate of Philadelphia is a prestigious position that places young artists at the forefront of the city’s cultural landscape. The selected laureate will work closely with Philadelphia’s Poet Laureate, Raina J. León, gaining valuable mentorship. This role involves advocating for key themes such as social justice, equity, and joy through poetry.
