In an effort to solve a tragic case, North Carolina authorities have announced a significant reward for crucial information. The state is now offering up to $25,000 for leads that result in the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the untimely death of 23-year-old Brittany Elizabeth Ferguson.

Governor Josh Stein emphasized the importance of utilizing all available means to ensure justice for victims. “We must use every tool at our disposal to pursue justice for victims,” said Governor Josh Stein. He called on North Carolinians with any information to come forward and assist law enforcement in providing closure to those affected by such tragedies.
The incident occurred on May 15, 2024, when Ferguson was traveling through Burke County. A large rock was hurled through her vehicle’s windshield, resulting in her immediate death.
