The Hampton Roads region has long celebrated the achievements of its female business leaders, and this year marks the 23rd anniversary of such recognition. In honoring 23 exceptional women, the initiative aims to inspire them and others to embrace their potential, build self-assurance, and become pioneering figures in the community.
The award ceremony, held at The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center on December 10, highlighted women who have made significant strides in their professional arenas, contributed to the local economy, and served as mentors. This acknowledgment seeks to motivate them toward even greater accomplishments.
Special recognition goes to section editor Ron Crow, with photographic contributions by Amanda MacDiarmid. For additional details, visit virginiamedia.com/women-in-business.
