James Madison (6-1, 4-0 Sun Belt) saw an increase in their poll points following a decisive 63-27 win against Old Dominion. In the Associated Press poll, they earned six points, while the coaches’ poll granted them nine. This places the Dukes at 32nd in both the AP survey and the coaches’ poll, sharing the latter position with Iowa State.

William & Mary Runners Garner CAA Honors
William & Mary continued their cross country success, with senior Perry Irons and junior Hayes Trapp receiving the CAA Men’s and Women’s Runner of the Week accolades for the third time this season. Irons secured her third award with a remarkable 6K time of 20:10.7, finishing eighth at the Princeton Fall Classic. This performance was the fastest for a Tribe runner since 2015. Trapp achieved a career-best 8K time of 23:25.0, leading the Tribe men to a 14th-place finish.

William & Mary women secured 12th place among 25 teams, while the men finished 19th out of 31 teams, overcoming several regionally ranked opponents, including Stony Brook, the defending CAA Champion.
