Engage in Robotics: A Unique Opportunity for Young Engineers

On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 4:00 P.M., an exciting event awaits young engineering enthusiasts at the Roxborough Library. This unique afterschool program, titled Fun With Robots, invites aspiring engineers to dive into the world of robotics through engaging presentations and hands-on workshops.

Hosted by graduate student researchers from the University of Pennsylvania’s Robotics’ Laboratory, the event promises to be both educational and fun. Attendees will explore topics ranging from the fundamentals of feedback control and mechanical systems to the intricacies of trajectory planning for aerial vehicles. The program will also offer a creative experience in building robot boats.

A Collaborative Effort

This initiative is a collaboration between the Roxborough Library and the GRASP Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania, aiming to inspire young minds and foster interest in robotics technology.
