BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. – Public feedback is being sought by the Bureau of Land Management regarding a draft environmental assessment for a potential mineral exploration project in Railroad Valley, situated northeast of Tonopah in Nye County.
Should the proposal receive approval, 3PL plans to conduct drilling across approximately 40 acres of public land, targeting the exploration of minerals such as lithium, boron, and tungsten. Additionally, the company aims to search for leasable minerals including sodium, potassium, and phosphate.
Further details are accessible via the BLM National NEPA Register. Stakeholders are encouraged to provide their feedback through the “Participate Now” feature, which is the preferred method. The deadline for submitting comments is May 19, 2025.
