The campaign of David Flippo, who is struggling to gain traction, faces significant challenges. Retiring Republican Representative Mark Amodei has been vocal about his lack of support for Flippo. Amodei’s remarks captured the sentiments of many in northern Nevada:

- Amodei commented on Flippo’s political history, noting, “I got a guy who couldn’t get out of a Republican Assembly primary in Clark County [two cycles ago]. First, Democrats, Republicans, and non-partisans are rejecting Flippo’s candidacy.
