UVA Seeks Community Input for Next Strategic Plan via New Survey

Engage with UVA’s Future: Share Your Vision

The University of Virginia (UVA) is reaching out to its community for input on shaping its future. Whether you’re faculty, staff, a student, alumni, a family member, or simply an admirer of the University, your insights are valued.

UVA President Scott Beardsley, along with his appointed committee, is eager to gather suggestions and feedback to aid in crafting the next strategic plan for the University.

A newly launched survey, designed to be completed in under 10 minutes, is a key component of President Beardsley’s broader strategy to engage with stakeholders in Charlottesville and beyond. This initiative is part of his larger mission, which includes the “Grounds for Conversation” listening and learning tour, and is supported by a planning committee dedicated to guiding his leadership.

According to an email dispatched to faculty, staff, and students, “This initiative will build on the foundation for crafting an institutional strategy across the academic division, UVA Health, and UVA Wise for collective success against the University’s mission.”

Participants are encouraged to submit their feedback before the survey closes on August 25.
